Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. seeks a Sr. Technical Analyst to act as the deep-domain authority for PV modules and roof-mount racking on the AVL, collaborating with teams across engineering, procurement, quality, and field operations.

The role requires extensive knowledge of residential PV, module specifications, and reliability data, with responsibility for data accuracy, certifications, and supplier interfaces in North America.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering with 5+ years directly relevant to solar

Responsibilities

• Own technical evaluation, OEM qualification, onboarding, and AVL refresh for modules and racking; lead technical scoring on RFPs.
• Maintain AVL records in Airtable and audit third-party design libraries; partner with the AVL Integrations Engineer on Salesforce Master Equipment mapping.
• Define authoritative technical parameters for each module and structural parameters for each racking system; maintain compatibility matrices.
• Run pre-launch AVL readiness reviews across the full Qcells module portfolio and variants; coordinate readiness milestones with the module organization.
• Attend pilot installations, support O&M escalations and RMAs; deliver technical training to internal teams and external partners.
• Author and maintain AVL requirements documents for PV modules and racking; curate virtual data room for OEM compliance records and certifications.
• Provide product-domain technical input to Team IRA on DCA/FEOC/Safe Harbor/IRA.
