Job summary

Cyclotron is seeking a Senior Microsoft Purview Compliance Architect to lead the design and implementation of governance, data classification, retention, and protection policies across Microsoft 365 and Azure.

The role requires strong expertise in Purview, GDPR/HIPAA/ISO27001-style compliance, and collaboration with executive and compliance teams. This is a remote, senior/lead position offering a competitive USD salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, security best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations.
Experience with Microsoft Purview including governance, compliance management, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

Work with clients to design a comprehensive Purview solution for data governance, compliance, and risk across Azure and Microsoft 365.
Leverage Azure infrastructure knowledge to integrate Purview securely with Azure services.
Develop policies for data classification, retention, and protection to meet regulatory standards.
Collaborate with C-suite, data governance, and compliance teams to align with policies and requirements.
Develop Purview data classification, retention, and protection policies.
Monitor and manage data access and usage compliance using Purview tools.
Coordinate Purview integration with Azure services and Microsoft 365 apps.
Provide leadership and technical guidance on Azure and Purview best practices.
Provide training to team members on Purview capabilities.
Stay updated with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 compliance/features.
