Job summary

Cyclotron is seeking a Senior Microsoft Purview Compliance Architect to lead data governance, compliance, and risk management across Azure and Microsoft 365. You will design and implement Purview-based solutions, ensuring secure integration and policy enforcement.

The role requires deep expertise in Purview, Azure, and M365 security, with strong collaboration across executive and governance teams. Remote work across US or Canada is supported.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, services and security best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview data governance, compliance management, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Design Purview-based data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Integrate Purview with Azure services and Microsoft 365 applications for secure operations.
• Develop policies for data classification, retention and protection per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with C-suite and governance teams to align with organizational policies.
• Provide leadership and best-practice guidance on Azure and Purview implementations.
• Lead training for team members on Purview capabilities and updates.
• Stay updated on new Azure and Purview features and compliance trends.
