Job summary

Iambic Therapeutics in San Diego seeks a Senior Associate Scientist I/II, Purification Sciences, to perform chromatography-based purification, focusing on preparative LC and preparative SFC, supporting medicinal chemistry and high-throughput chemistry efforts.

You will operate prep LC, prep SFC, analytical LC and LC/MS, develop purification methods, troubleshoot instruments, and maintain documentation to enable rapid delivery of high-purity compounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with chromatography and small-molecule purification.
• Knowledge of chromatographic separation principles and method optimization.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine purification using preparative LC and SFC for small molecules.
• Develop and optimize purification methods, including column/mobile-phase selection and gradients.
• Operate prep LC, prep SFC, analytical LC, and LC/MS systems; perform QC of purified compounds.
