Job summary

Terray Therapeutics is seeking a detail-oriented Technician to join our Analytical and Purification group. You will support synthetic chemistry programs by purifying and characterizing small-molecule compounds using LC/SFC-MS, delivering high-purity materials and data to requestors, and maintaining instrumentation and workflows integral to our discovery pipeline.

The role emphasizes analytical operations (80%) and continuous improvement (20%), with an opportunity to contribute to cross-team

Qualifications

B.S. in Chemistry or related discipline.
Hands-on experience with analytical and preparative scale chromatography (HPLC/UPLC and prep-HPLC).
Knowledge of reverse and normal phase chromatography and mobile/stationary phase selection.
Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and sample tracking.
Ability to manage high-throughput samples and competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize analytical and preparative methods for purification of compounds using LC/SFC-MS platforms.
Run high-throughput analysis and characterization of reactions and purified compounds (UPLC/HPLC-UV, LC-MS, NMR as needed).
Support walk-up/open-access LC-MS and purification service with quick turnaround.
Track sample identity, recovery, and yield through workflows.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and software; coordinate service with vendors.
