Job summary

Lilly seeks experienced Process Engineers to support purification of biologics, peptides, oligonucleotides, and bioconjugates. You will drive design, qualification, and commissioning activities for purification equipment, while mentoring juniors and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Initial site in Indianapolis with permanent location in Lebanon, IN. Applicants must have a BS/MS in chemical engineering and 5+ years in pharma/biotech/CMO settings, and be authorized to work in the United

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical engineering or related discipline; 5+ years in pharma/biotech/CMO.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience with purification equipment and unit operations (chromatography, TFF, distillation, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform impact and risk assessments for chromatography, TFF, and related equipment.
• Drive design progression, qualification documentation, and facility acceptance testing.
• Conduct equipment walkdowns during commissioning to enable on-time delivery.
• Engage in automation discussions to specify operating requirements for processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects.
