Qualifications

• PhD or higher in chemical engineering or related field focused on biological separation sciences.
• Extensive protein purification/process development experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new purification technologies.
• Design optimized downstream drug substance processes for new biologic candidates.
• Maintain records and interpret data for detailed experiment analysis.
• Oversee process and tech transfer to GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Write technical reports and present development activities.
• Remain flexible to take on new projects and challenges.
• Troubleshoot issues and reduce process variability.
