Job summary

Mars seeks a Sr. Category Manager for Amazon & Chewy to drive pureplay growth. You will synthesize data across sources, build retailer-ready recommendations, and shape omnichannel plans with cross-functional partners. Strong analytics, storytelling, and negotiation skills required; remote-friendly with preferred Franklin, TN or Mars hub locations.

You will influence joint business plans, manage forecasts, and support strategic initiatives to expand share in Pureplay eCommerce.

Qualifications

4+ years category management or retail analytics experience (ecom analytics a plus), preferably in CPG.
Experience with NielsenIQ, Stackline, or market-data equivalent, and familiarity with digital shelf analytics platforms.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Comfort using imperfect data to make strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

Business Reviews: Synthesize disparate data streams across traditional, syndicated sources and digital shelf analytics into concise selling stories that improve discovery, conversion, basket size, trips, and category growth.
Pureplay Score-carding: Monitor dollar share, search and traffic share, new item performance, and promotional presence to surface shifts and recommend action to improve PDP conversion drivers.
Category Forecasting: Build retailer-specific 3-year category forecasts and execute monthly reporting reviews to inform sales and share forecasts.
Pureplay Measurement Capability: Co-develop scorecards and predictive models integrating traditional and digital shelf measures, search velocity, and subscription variables into repeatable reporting.
