Job summary

Mars is seeking a Sr. Category Manager for Amazon & Chewy to advise on Pureplay eCommerce opportunities and shape retailer-ready recommendations across shopper insights, assortment, pricing, and subscriptions.

The role supports Mars Petcare growth with retailers like Amazon and Chewy, leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. Remote work is possible, with preferred locations in Franklin, TN and Mars hub locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years category management or retail analytics experience, preferably in CPG.
• Experience with NielsenIQ, Stackline, or market-data equivalents, and familiarity with digital shelf analytics platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort using imperfect data to make strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize disparate data streams into concise selling stories that drive growth across discovery, conversion, basket size, trips and category growth.
• Monitor dollar share, search and traffic share, new item performance, and promotional presence to surface shifts and recommend actions to improve PDP performance.
• Build retailer-specific 3-year category forecasts and run monthly reviews to inform sales and share projections.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop digital category management best practices and support Mars and retailer initiatives.
