Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or higher required.
• Minimum of 10 years of Civil Engineering Designer experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated site work and construction technical experience.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate consultant teams.
• Ability to interact with owners and user groups.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil plans for public works infrastructure projects (roadways, drainage, water, sewer, utilities, earthwork).
• Analyze design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
• Conduct site and construction inspections and prepare reports.
• Execute material selections and technical solutions.
• Analyze design and construction features, researching, compiling, and recording information for project work.
