Job summary

Huitt-Zollars is seeking a Senior Civil CAD Designer in Rio Rancho, NM. The role uses AutoCAD Civil 3D to design water and wastewater systems, roads, and site development. The candidate should work independently or in a team and communicate effectively with project managers.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in CAD/Drafting and 5+ years of AutoCAD experience (2020+). Water/wastewater project exposure is preferred; Carlson or AutoCAD P&ID knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CAD/Drafting or comparable experience.
• At least 5 years of AutoCAD experience (2020 or newer) and 6 months civil drafting work.
• Experience with water/wastewater facility projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD P&ID, Carlson is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for roadway and development projects.
• Prepare drawings for water/wastewater and utilities, including site grading, drainage, elevations, and cross-sections.
• Create plan and profile drawings for water transmission and sewer systems.
