Job summary

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services seeks an Associate Deputy Director for Dually Involved Youth and Human Trafficking Prevention in Chicago. This senior role requires an MSW or master's in a related field and substantial administrative child welfare experience.

Qualifications

• Requires MSW or master's degree in a related human services field.
• Requires four years of administrative child welfare experience with an MSW or five years with a master's degree.
• Three years of professional experience managing or working in children and youth services in a public or private organization (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serves as Associate Deputy Director of Dually Involved Youth and Human Trafficking Prevention.
• Provides input into agency programs and operations of high importance.
• Oversees pilot programs and develops department curriculum related to transition to adulthood, human trafficking, and dually involved youth.
