Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the US Public Sector offering, overseeing FedRAMP Moderate/High through IL5. You will translate compliance into product requirements, partner with Security/Legal, and guide cross-functional teams across a distributed environment.

You will collaborate with Sales/Marketing, gather agency feedback, and track regulatory changes to drive strategic roadmaps. A strong AI-enabled mindset and autonomous working style are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
• Prior experience building and operating DoD IL4+ cloud service environments, and/or eligible to work in DoD IL4+ environments, direct experience with US federal compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CJIS, or StateRAMP.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and developer-focused products.
• Experience building for government agencies, system integrators, or federal resellers.
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate work while owning final outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and teams across projects.
• Autonomous working style with transparent communication.
• Ego-free attitude, empathy, and humor.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for Elastic's public sector offering from FedRAMP Moderate/High to IL5 and beyond.
• Provide support for customers in FedRAMP environments.
• Translate compliance requirements into product requirements and prioritize with Engineering.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal to keep authorizations current.
• Work with Sales & Marketing on go-to-market, messaging, and enablement, including federal partners.
• Gather agency feedback and market data to derive product insights.
• Track regulatory changes and convert them into actionable plans.
• Operate autonomously in a distributed team with asynchronous communication.
• Utilize AI to accelerate work while owning outcomes.
