Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Product Manager for the Platform team to own Elastic Cloud's backend offerings for the US public sector, including FedRAMP and IL5 environments. You will translate compliance into product requirements and work with Security, Compliance, and Legal to maintain authorizations.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and federal partners, gathering agency needs and turning them into strategic product insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
• Experience with DoD IL4+ cloud environments or eligibility to work in IL4+.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, CJIS, or StateRAMP compliance.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and developer-focused products.
• Experience building for government agencies, system integrators, or federal resellers.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive autonomous decisions.
• Experience applying AI to accelerate outcomes while owning final results.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for Elastic's public sector offering from FedRAMP Moderate/High through IL5.
• Provide support for FedRAMP customers and translate compliance into product requirements.
• Coordinate with Security, Compliance, and Legal to keep authorizations current.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on GTM, messaging, and federal partnerships.
• Gather agency requirements and develop product insights from market data.
• Track regulatory changes and turn them into actionable plans.
• Work autonomously in a distributed team, using asynchronous, direct communication.
• Apply AI to accelerate work while owning final outcomes.
