Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Budget and Financial Analyst to support financial management, strategic planning, program management, data analytics and reporting activities for the DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) mission.

The role will remotely support the Wyoming Sub-Field Office in budget execution, data calls, project analysis, and program reporting, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience).
• 8+ years of experience working in dynamic customer delivery environments; two years of experience may be substituted by a Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial data reporting and business analytics to taskings and requirements for mission needs.
• Participate in budget analysis for formulation, execution, and Multi-Year Planning activities with stakeholders.
• Monitor execution-year budgets, analyze funding obligations, and align with mission priorities.
• Develop costing data, financial and program analysis to identify savings, risks and opportunities.
• Capture budget requirements, analyze portfolio/issues, and lead resolution activities.
• Support budgeting and financial planning for the field office.
• Prepare briefings, white papers, risk assessments, and other deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to respond to data calls and ad hoc tasks.
• Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deadlines to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.
• Create and maintain SOPs, status reports, communication plans, and other program artifacts.
• Assess client needs and conduct gap analyses to propose practical solutions.
