Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Budget and Financial Analyst to support DHS ICE financial management, planning, data analytics, and reporting. The role will remotely support the Wyoming Sub-Field Office in budget execution and analysis, government taskings, data calls, and project analysis.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments, with a Master’s potentially substituting two years. DHS clearance preferred and on-site work at times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 8+ years of experience; Master's may substitute for 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial data reporting and business analytics to financial taskings and requirements for DHS ICE operations.
• Participate in budget analysis for formulation, execution, and Multi-Year Planning activities.
• Monitor execution-year budget figures and funding obligations; analyze budgetary needs and advise on alignment with priorities.
• Develop costing data, financial analysis, and program analysis to identify savings and risks.
• Capture budget requirements, analyze portfolio and product issues, and drive resolution activities.
• Support budgeting and financial requirements planning for the field office.
• Develop recommendations and deliverables including white papers, risk assessments, and briefings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to respond to government taskings, data calls, and ad hoc assignments.
• Coordinate project requirements and timelines to ensure on-track delivery and compliance.
• Create and maintain project documentation including SOPs, status reports, and communications.
