Job summary

Lumen is seeking an Account Director Senior to drive strategic sales across Public Sector accounts, including DoD, DISA, and Federal Civilian agencies. Lead account plans, pursue opportunities, and coordinate internal resources to deliver technology solutions aligned with customer missions.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of federal relationships, experience in government procurement, and a track record of executive-level engagement with customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Federal agency relationships and proven success selling complex mission solutions.
• Experience selling telecommunications, IT solutions, managed services, or related offerings.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement policies, contracts, and buying cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned Public Sector accounts.
• Identify and advance new sales opportunities through RFx, proposals, and coordinated planning.
• Build and grow customer relationships to expand revenue and cross-sell opportunities.
