Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead large, complex deployments for public safety customers. You will guide projects from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver CAD, Mobile, and analytics applications on time and within budget.

This remote role requires 5+ years of PM experience, travel up to 75%, and strong stakeholder communication. PMP is preferred; background clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Public Safety, Project Management, or Program Management experience in deployments.
• Ability to obtain government background clearance.
• Travel up to 75% is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.
• Directs and coordinates the work activities of project teams.
• People management experience a must; may manage other project managers or technical staff.
• Capable of managing/supervising other disciplines/technology within a project.
• Communicates with key customer stakeholders.
• Participates in sales strategy and revenue growth discussions.
• Conducts needs assessments and requirements gathering.
• Defines program scope, objectives, budgets and metrics for large projects.
• Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition).
• Adheres to plans, quality metrics and budgets.
• Recommends corrective actions and implements changes.
• Identifies and mitigates risks; develops risk plans.
• Allocates resources and manages vendor relations.
• Interacts with internal teams and senior stakeholders.
