Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote-based Program/Project Manager in the United States to lead large public safety deployment programs (CAD, Mobile, Records, etc.). The role requires 5+ years of public safety project management, strong team leadership, and the ability to manage budgets up to $10M.

Travel up to 75% is expected, with background clearance required. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Public Safety and Project Management experience managing deployments for state/local agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, Management, or Technology.
• Ability to obtain a government background clearance.

Responsabilités

• Lead large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.
• Direct and coordinate the work activities of project teams.
• People management experience preferred; may supervise other project managers or technical staff.
• Manage and supervise other disciplines/technology within a project.
• Communicate with key customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to sales strategy to increase project revenue.
• Conduct needs assessments and requirements gathering.
• Define and develop program scope, objectives, plans, budgets and metrics.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, with performance evaluation.
• Ensure adherence to program plans, budgets and quality metrics.
• Identify and implement corrective actions and risk mitigations.
• Procure resources and allocate staff with required competencies.
• Interface with internal teams and vendors as needed.
• Lead communications and negotiations with clients.
