Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino is seeking a Dispatch Sergeant to oversee the Dispatch Center operations and supervise all Dispatchers. The role ensures administrative and training standards are maintained and that all center systems are effectively managed.

The position requires leadership, adherence to gaming regulations, and strong communication skills to coordinate staffing, training, and performance reviews in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience and 8–10 years in related field such as Military, Security or Law Enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Dispatch operations.
• Ensure a safe environment at all times at PRC.
• Ensure all policies, rules, regulations, and laws as pertain to PRC are followed.
• Enforce gaming regulations per internal control policy.
• Cope constructively with team member and guest situations.
• Coordinate the training and assignments of Dispatchers and staff.
• Promote teamwork and trust.
• Communicate pertinent information to DPS team members.
• Prepare daily reports and necessary documentation.
• Inform management of developments that may impact their areas.
• Coach and mentor team; conduct performance reviews and progressive discipline.
• Other duties as assigned.
