Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Irving, TX seeks a Senior Specialist, External Communications to lead consumer PR strategies and programs for Michaels and MakerPlace. You will collaborate with the Communications team to develop media plans, coordinate with agencies, and drive publicity across digital, print, broadcast, radio and social channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Relations, Communication or Marketing.
• Minimum experience in retail or agency public relations with proven media results.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage agency relationships.
