Job summary

The Michaels Companies invites a skilled Social Media Community / Influencer Specialist to join our Irving team. You will lead influencer content campaigns, build relationships with brand ambassadors, and craft briefs to guide social executions across key categories, working with cross‑functional teams to amplify our creative strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum Certifications: Expert in social platform mechanics and best practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum Type of experience: 2-3 years of marketing experience or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage Influencer Marketing Content Campaigns, including relationship building, outreach, and partner management.
• Assist with building the strategy, scaling, and executing Brand Ambassador programs across key categories.
• Prepare and disseminate campaign briefs for social media content and campaigns.
• Track, measure, and report on Social Influencer Campaigns as well as Brand Ambassador KPIs and benchmarks, including interpreting data and providing recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and creative content formats, and identify rising topics of interest in the craft and art space.
• Oversee Social Moderation for TikTok, including responding to DM, viral comments and overseeing Social Moderation agency.
• Other duties as assigned
