Samsara seeks a Senior Public Policy & Government Affairs Manager based in Washington, DC, to expand our work on Capitol Hill and beyond, driving opportunities to support Samsara’s Public Sector business. You will lead cross-functional efforts with Sales, Legal, Marketing, and Product while shaping policy and funding strategies to advance our technology in government operations.

You will represent Samsara before Congress, work with consultants, and help build coalitions to unlock programmatic

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, or government, with a strong preference for appropriations-focused experience.
• In-house government affairs experience coordinating with sales, GTM, or revenue teams.
• Deep understanding of the federal appropriations and budget process and translating it into funding outcomes.
• Experience proactively generating opportunities and building coalitions.
• Established relationships with congressional offices, staff, and federal agencies relevant to transportation, infrastructure, or technology funding.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Samsara before Congress and build relationships with members and staff on appropriations and authorizing committees.
• Identify and generate funding or programmatic opportunities for local, state, and federal levels.
• Maintain a prioritized opportunities list and provide concrete input for pipeline and go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with Public Sector Sales and outside consultants to advance campaigns and strategy.
• Draft legislative language, funding tasks, letters, and testimony supporting Samsara's priorities.
• Coordinate with Legal, Marketing, and Product to reflect Samsara's technology in advocacy materials.
