Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is seeking a Senior Communications & Public Engagement Manager to lead strategic communications and engagement for a major K-12 capital program in Oakland, CA. You will collaborate with district leadership, project managers, and community partners to advance transparency and participation throughout planning and delivery.

The role focuses on governance, outreach, and storytelling that support modernization projects, with a hands-on, multi-stakeholder

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Public Affairs, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading strategic communications and public engagement initiatives.
• Experience supporting public agencies, K-12 school districts, capital improvement programs, or similar environments.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute strategic communications plans for Bond Measure projects and district initiatives.
• Lead communications across websites, newsletters, emails, presentations, and reports.
• Develop stakeholder-facing communications and outreach materials.
• Advise Facilities leadership on communications strategy and engagement opportunities.
• Plan and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including public meetings and town halls.
• Track metrics and improve engagement processes across projects.
