Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish goals, and develop individualized therapy programs to improve mobility and independence. The PT will treat pediatric to geriatric patients and may supervise PTA staff.

Required qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current Illinois license, and CPR certification. Registry Level IV pay is $55/hour with weekend rotations and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (accredited).
• Current Illinois Physical Therapist license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat, evaluate and implement a plan of care for all patients.
• Provide supervisory support to PTA and PT/PTA students.
• Document care in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Promote privacy, confidentiality and adherence to hospital standards.
• Communicate with physicians, families and staff to coordinate care.
• Support safety and infection control in the care environment.
• Participate in continued education and development activities.
