Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Professional Services Operations Lead to establish scalable operations across PS, driving forecasting, resource management, and automation initiatives. You will partner with Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to align planning with delivery, pricing, and go-to-market efforts.

You will mature the PS operating cadence, deliver executive readouts, and build self‑service reporting with Analytics to reduce leadership dependencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Professional Services Operations or related.
• Forecasting and planning that connects sales to delivery.
• Experience with PSA platforms like Kantata.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Mature the PS operating cadence, including forecasting & planning alignment and performance reporting.
• Establish capacity, utilization, and resource management across billable and non‑billable roles.
• Improve project economics visibility: rate cards, fully loaded costs, margins, utilization, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, CX Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery to improve PSA, time‑tracking, CRM, reports.
• Define requirements and lead improvements, automations, and efficiency drivers across PS and related teams.
• Improve go‑to‑market alignment by tracking PS attach and involvement in deal strategy and account planning.
