Job summary

Elevance Health in California is seeking a Senior Provider Network Manager to develop the provider network through contract negotiations, relationship building, and servicing. This role focuses on complex contracts and negotiating terms with large providers.

You will mentor staff, work with cross‑functional teams, and ensure appropriate provider mix. A BA/BS and 5+ years of contracting experience, plus California provider experience, are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years’ contracting/provider servicing experience.
• California provider experience is required.
• Experience with fee schedule development using actuarial models is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as key resource for contracting staff, mentoring and training.
• Works independently with high judgment and discretion.
• Collaborates on network management projects and with the sales team on employer group presentations.
• Acts as a communication link between providers and Elevance Health.
• Ensures proper distribution of provider specialties in the network.
• Performs complex negotiations and drafts documents.
• Prepares financial projections and conducts analyses.
