Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Montebello, CA is seeking a Provider Network Administrator to manage contracts and relationships with physicians, specialists, and hospitals. The role focuses on growing a high-quality, cost-effective provider network and supporting managed care initiatives.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and successful partnerships within a dynamic health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Healthcare experience in a managed care setting or with a physician group preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, or Commercial provider networks preferred.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and provider databases preferred.
• Experience with provider reimbursement methodologies (fee-for-service, capitation, value-based models) preferred.
• Experience with CMS, DHCS, DMHC, NCQA related to provider networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, administer, and maintain contracts and relationships with PCPs, specialists, ancillary providers, and hospitals.
• Identify and onboard new providers and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track progress, enhance brand visibility, and support efforts to secure new contracts.
• Communicate effectively with partners to foster strong collaborations.
