AEP Service Corporation in New Albany, OH is seeking a P&C Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing protection and control team. You will guide engineering design, implement protection schemes, and ensure code conformance from 12kV to 765kV across projects.

As technical authority and people leader, you will mentor staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive high-quality deliverables while maintaining safety, reliability, and compliance across regions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years of electric utility engineering experience, including six (6) years in design, construction and operation of protection and control systems.
• Professional Engineer license in any state is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee, mentor, and provide career coaching for P&C engineering staff.
• Review protection schematics, relay settings, wiring diagrams, and testing documentation.
• Manage P&C quality issues and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design and field issues.
• Lead settings and coordination studies and produce configuration files.
• Perform fault analysis and maintain ASPEN fault study cases across the NERC region.
• Investigate relay misoperations and implement corrective actions.
• Represent P&C engineering in complex station matters and stakeholder meetings.
