Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 10 years of electric utility engineering experience, incl. 6+ years in protection and control design/construction/operation.
• Professional Engineer registration in any state preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor, and coach P&C engineering staff.
• Review protection schematics, relay settings, wiring diagrams, BOMs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, construction, and protection technicians to resolve issues.
• Lead settings and coordination studies (relay settings, time-current coordination, breaker duty).
• Ensure compliance with P&C standards and policies.
