Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technology with at least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for certification.
• Experience with ASPEN OneLiner, SEL & GE Relay Programming, IEC61850, and protection coordination analysis.
• Familiar with FERC, NERC, NPCC, and state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of power system analysis and protection fundamentals.

Aufgaben

• Perform relay settings design and coordination analysis for transmission and substation protection.
• Lead engineering contractors and consultants on protection system settings for capital projects.
• Analyze disturbance events to ensure protection schemes perform reliably.
• Prepare fault analysis reports with corrective actions for management.
• Support NERC compliance programs and act as SME during audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve protection and control system issues.
• Represent AVANGRID on regional and national committees.
