RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer - Solid Propulsion in Tucson, AZ to lead propulsion system development for missile and space vehicle programs. You will manage propulsion subcontracts, review supplier data, and coordinate across engineering disciplines.

You will interface with customers, prepare technical presentations, and travel as needed to support supplier activities. A STEM degree with 8+ years experience or 10+ years without a degree is required, plus ability to obtain a DoD security

Competenze

• Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience; 10+ years if no degree.
• Experience in development of solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Apply or develop advanced propulsion technologies for missile/space vehicle integration.
• Collaborate across development and production programs.
• Review manufacturing processes and work with subcontractors on propulsion systems.
• Deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies.
• Frequently interface with the Customer to identify user needs.
• Travel internationally to support supplier activities.
