Job summary

Aalyria is hiring a Proposals Manager to own the full lifecycle of government and commercial proposals, from kickoff to submission. You will coordinate SMEs, write and edit content, and run reviews to deliver compliant, compelling proposals on tight timelines.

In this startup-like environment, you will build structure, maintain boilerplate libraries, and report on pipeline and outcomes, while collaborating with BD and engineering teams. Flexibility includes hybrid remote/in-office schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience writing and managing proposals.
• Strong understanding of FAR and federal procurement processes.
• Excellent writing, editing, and scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to translate complex technical content for proposals.
• Willingness to work with SMEs and in a fast-paced startup setting.
• Active U.S. security clearance required – Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end proposal process for DoD, IC, civil and commercial opportunities.
• Develop schedules, compliance matrices, and outlines for bids.
• Write, edit, and coordinate content with engineering, product, and BD teams.
• Run color team reviews and incorporate feedback into submissions.
• Build reusable proposal content and boilerplate libraries.
• Track proposal pipeline and win/loss outcomes.
• Support capture activities as needed with BD and teammates.
• Help bring structure to a function built largely from scratch.
