Job summary

Saalex Corporation seeks a Director of Proposal Operations in a hybrid role based in Lexington Park, MD, Washington, DC, or Huntsville, AL. The position leads all proposal activities across the full lifecycle for DoD and Federal opportunities.

You will collaborate with BD and Capture to craft win strategies, manage teams, and ensure compliant, high-quality submissions while advancing proposal content libraries and tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Federal proposal management experience, including at least 5 years leading proposal teams or proposal operations.
• Strong knowledge of Federal acquisition processes, solicitation compliance, FAR, and DFARS requirements.
• Experience supporting complex contract vehicles, task orders, and competitive procurements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience with proposal management, collaboration, and content management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle from planning to submission and lessons learned.
• Develop responses to RFPs, RFIs, OTAs, white papers, task orders, and gov't solicitations.
• Partner with BD and Capture to craft strategy, win themes, and messaging.
• Establish enterprise proposal processes, standards, and templates.
