Job summary

Aalyria is seeking a Proposals Manager to own the proposal lifecycle for government and commercial opportunities. You will lead kickoff through submission, develop compliance matrices, and coordinate with SMEs to craft tight, on-time proposals.

In this startup-like environment, you will run color team reviews, build reusable boilerplate content, and track win/loss outcomes while supporting capture activities as needed. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience writing and managing proposals.
• Strong understanding of FAR and solicitation types.
• Excellent writing, editing, and deadline-driven project management.
• Ability to translate complex technical content for persuasive proposals.
• Startup environment with a scrappy, hands-on attitude.
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end proposal process for government and commercial bids.
• Develop schedules, compliance matrices, and outlines for submissions.
• Write, edit, and coordinate content with SMEs across teams.
• Run color-team reviews and incorporate feedback into final submissions.
• Build reusable content, past performance materials, and boilerplates.
• Track proposal pipeline and report on win/loss outcomes.
• Support capture activities alongside BD where needed.
• Bring structure to a function being built from scratch.
