Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Proposals Manager to oversee the full proposal lifecycle, from team assignments to final delivery of competitive proposals. You will guide proposal teams, manage schedules, and ensure accuracy and compliance across submissions.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to work across groups in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid position includes a defined work location with some travel and a sizeable salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Proposal Management work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data management programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• RFP Analysis & Strategy: Conduct detailed analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify all proposal requirements and evaluation criteria. Prepare a comprehensive proposal outline, compliance matrix. and Work with the team to establish a response strategy and identify potential gaps.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the complete proposal lifecycle by establishing a comprehensive proposal schedule, coordinating proposal milestones (including drafting, reviews, production), running status meetings, and masterfully allocating leaders, writers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Content Creation: Drive the creation of compelling, persuasive proposal content that is strategically positioned to solve customer needs and differentiate our value proposition.
• Review, Quality & Compliance: Manage a rigorous proposal review cycle and conduct thorough quality and compliance checks to ensure the final deliverable is accurate, fully compliant, and aligned with business strategy.
• Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain a centralized content/knowledge library to ensure all materials are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible across submissions.
