Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior proposal writer to support business development and capture management across federal projects. The role emphasizes writing, editing, and producing statements of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and ensure cohesive messaging across client working groups and accounts. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with DOD/federal RFQ/RFPs, strong organizational and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and self-schedule.
• Deadline oriented with the ability to manage multiple proposal assignments.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and layout abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse technical staff and teaming partners.
• Experience with RFQ/RFP processes and management in federal sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Business Development with resource planning and workload prioritization.
• Develop presentations, graphics, and compelling text for statements of qualifications and RFIs.
• Lead capture and pursuit development, ensuring consistent messaging.
• Coordinate schedules and manage proposals from outline to submission.
• Write project descriptions, personnel qualifications, and management plans.
• Support subcontractor teaming agreements and data calls.
