Job summary

Gemini Industries Inc. is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer to support National Security projects from Gemini Headquarters in Burlington, MA.

You will work with the Vice President of Business Development to craft proposals that highlight discriminators and present compelling, compliant narratives for complex bids. Applicants should have 15+ years in federal proposals, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency with GovWin/GovTribe, Shipley processes, MS Office, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant (or comparable) experience.
• Experience writing proposals for professional services efforts valued between $50 Million and $1 Billion.
• Proven ability to conceptualize and write customer-focused proposal narratives and oral presentation slides.
• High energy, enthusiasm and optimism.
• Extraordinary attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.
• Experience with the Shipley Proposal Process or other industry-relevant capture and proposal methodologies.
• Working knowledge of GovWin, GovTribe, or similar market intelligence/capture management software tools.

Responsibilities

• Writing compelling proposals that highlight and substantiate Gemini discriminators including technical narratives and management plans.
• Analyzing federal RFPs, RFQs and RFIs to draft key elements of Gemini’s solution.
• Creating and maintaining topic sentence outlines for proposal sections.
• Collaborating with SMEs, capture managers, and project teams to gather technical, operational, and programmatic information.
• Rewriting, editing, and synthesizing SME input into clear, persuasive proposal content.
• Leading color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) and incorporating feedback.
• Staying updated on AI tools that can improve proposal writing.
