Job summary

CenTrio is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer in Houston, TX to lead the development of high‑quality proposals that support nationwide growth. This role is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and in‑office collaboration.

You will own the proposal process from intake through submission and post‑award analysis, partnering with operations, engineering, finance, and business development to translate complex technical information into compelling client proposals that differentiate CenTrio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Significant experience developing and managing competitive proposals (RFPs/RFQs).
• Experience managing full proposal lifecycle from strategy to post‑award analysis.
• Strong understanding of proposal compliance and evaluation criteria.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and quality‑control skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear content.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of proposals, including RFPs and RFQs.
• Develop strategies, schedules, compliance matrices, and submission plans.
• Coordinate content from cross‑functional teams and maintain deadlines.
• Lead final reviews and ensure brand and quality standards.
