Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mission Formulation Lead to drive early-stage mission concepts and strategic capture across RF and communications domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RF remote sensing or communications missions in leadership roles.
• Ability to decompose high level mission objectives into technical concepts and solutions.
• Experience across government and commercial market missions in RF/Comms domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of mission formulation contracts and cross-functional teams.
• Drive strategic capture campaigns for government and commercial RF/remote sensing missions.
• Oversee multi-stage programs from formulation to design concepts and mission delivery.
• Lead early-stage R&D activities/proposals as Principal Investigator.
• Create technical proposals, white papers, and concept studies to differentiate Muon Space offerings.
• Perform feasibility studies, literature reviews, and trade studies for mission concepts.
• Support customer discovery, translating pain points into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product management, BD, and engineering to identify new markets and technologies.
