Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead and manage the development of winning proposals for the US Navy SMIT contract. The role oversees the entire proposal process, ensuring on-time, compliant submissions and alignment with strategic objectives. Telework is supported.

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to oral presentations and past performance research as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of federal proposal leadership experience or 15+ years in related roles.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall proposal development process from Pre-Proposal through Post Proposal and award.
• Interpret requirements for opportunities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Support contract modifications and pricing strategies with governance artifacts.
• Maintain activity logs in Salesforce and manage proposal schedules and reviews.
• Edit proposals for clarity and ensure documentation supports submission.
