Job summary

Sundt, an employee-owned contractor, is seeking a dedicated proposal specialist to support bids across Transportation, Industrial, Building, and Renewable sectors. You will write, organize, and coordinate high-quality pursuit deliverables, partnering with pursuit leaders and business development to win work.

The role requires strong writing, organizational skills, and industry knowledge, with opportunities to advance to senior level handling complex pursuits and leading deliverables.

Qualifications

• Must be a skilled writer and able to effectively communicate highly technical concepts to varying audiences.
• 1-3 years of marketing/proposal experience in A/E/C; 4-7 years for Senior position eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications, journalism, or similar preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite programs; knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cosential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in quality control, researching information to resolve issues and improve pursuit processes.
• Maintains Sundt's Brand Guidelines and Pursuit Process Guidelines.
• Manages design and production of each deliverable with quality, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
• Senior Level: Able to manage complex pursuits independently.
• Senior Level: Performs all listed responsibilities with minimal oversight.
• Senior Level: Acts as a subject matter expert for pursuit deliverables and best practices.
• Leads coordination of pursuit deliverables (prequalification materials, SQQ/proposals, presentations) and develops key sections.
• Supports Content and Data Management by capturing pursuit deliverables per guidelines.
• Works with team to craft consistent messaging and win strategies.
