Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
7+ years of application engineering experience in engineered-to-order solutions and customer proposals.
3+ years of quotation, estimating, or front-end engineering experience.
Experience analyzing customer specifications, single-line diagrams, and technical requirements to develop optimized solutions.
Strong business acumen balancing technical, commercial, and profitability objectives.
Ability to travel up to 10-15%.

Responsibilities

Translate customer requirements into cost-effective power distribution solutions.
Lead the development of complex proposals, including scope, equipment, and configurations.
Create conceptual layouts and engineering deliverables communicating proposed solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and product teams to evaluate options and optimize designs.
Develop project estimates, cost models, and customer-facing proposal packages for large opportunities.
Support customer discussions and act as technical advisor to sales and BD teams.
Drive engineering excellence through continuous improvement and smooth handoffs to execution teams.
