Job summary

RTX seeks a Proposal Analyst to support the Naval Power estimating team, develop cost models, and assist with proposals for development, production, and contracts. The role requires independence and on-site work at RTX facilities, with potential security clearances. This is a 35 hours/week hybrid position.

The candidate will lead pricing strategy development, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure FAR compliance on all proposals, contributing to competitive and compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and related tools.
• Experience with proposal development, cost models, price buildup, and/or estimating and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Be independently responsible for development, analysis and completion of varying proposal types including the most significant proposals.
• Lead development of pricing strategies considering customer care-abouts, future work, affordability, and risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate labor, material and other direct costs for proposed contracts.
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools.
• Develop detailed Requests for Estimates to kick off proposals.
