Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Proposal Analyst to lead cost analysis for the Air Dominance Division. The role centers on shaping methodologies, mentoring analysts, and presenting high-level analyses to senior leadership. Onsite in Palmdale/San Diego/El Segundo with a clear path to impactful program decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, Excel modeling, and government‑clearance experience to influence major pursuits and large, long‑cycle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant pricing/finance experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance or higher.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shape analytical approach for significant pursuits from pre-RFP to final recommendation.
• Set cost modeling standards across analysis and benchmarking.
• Lead executive reviews and be senior Pricing and Estimating voice in the room with capture, program, and finance leadership.
• Present analyses at reviews and brief senior executives on reasoning behind significant cost positions.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster growth into senior roles.
