Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, California, is seeking a Level 2/Level 3 Proposal Analyst to join our proposal team. The role supports a range of activities from ROMs to pricing, coordinating costly data and schedules to meet RFP requirements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree with data analysis or estimating experience (or a master's) and are proficient with Excel, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of data analysis or estimating experience OR a Master's Degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Able to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration
• Develops, plans and schedules proposals
• Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with RFP specifications
• Coordinates collection of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments
• Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts
• Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings
• Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives
• Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team
