Qualifications

10+ years of commercial property underwriting experience, focusing on large accounts, complex occupancies, or multinational programs.
Strong technical underwriting expertise in property lines including fire, nat cat, manufacturing, real estate, and logistics.
Ability to negotiate at senior levels and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

Underwrite and manage a book of large, complex property accounts, including shared and layered placements and multinational programs.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners to drive profitable growth.
Assess and price risks by analyzing complex property exposures, including natural catastrophe modeling and historical loss data.
Collaborate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and Reinsurance to deliver tailored client solutions.
Lead negotiations on terms, endorsements, and manuscript wording to ensure appropriate coverage and risk mitigation.
Stay current on market trends and pricing strategies to inform underwriting guidelines and product development.
