HDI Global Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Engineering Lines Executive Underwriter to strengthen our underwriting team. This role focuses on profitable portfolio development across engineering lines, driven by technical expertise, disciplined underwriting, and strategic client engagement.

Responsibilities include underwriting, negotiating terms, building broker and client relationships, and mentoring junior underwriters.

Formación

8+ years in Engineering Lines and Builders Risk underwriting.
Deep expertise in CAR/EAR projects, CPE/CPM, DSU, and MBRs.
Proven ability to analyze complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, ideally with a network in Central US.
Experience with large industrial clients and multinational programs highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

Underwrite Engineering Lines and Builders Risk within delegated authority.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for profitability.
Build and maintain broker/client relationships; represent the company at meetings.
Identify new business opportunities and support growth strategies.
Manage and monitor portfolio performance and take corrective actions when needed.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and governance standards.
Collaborate in a global team; mentor junior underwriters and contribute to product development.
