Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in California is seeking a Property Tax Senior to join our State & Local Tax practice. You will review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients for property tax renditions, collaborate with the client and tax team to resolve data issues, and receive training on Avalara software to prepare and review renditions.

You will work with clients from Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail and Healthcare, perform tax-related research, review property tax notices, and identify

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in SALT or related area.
Experience in business consulting or services is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review fixed asset detail documents for property tax renditions.
Collaborate with clients and the property tax team to resolve data issues.
Receive training on Avalara software and apply it to renditions.
Prepare and review property tax renditions using Avalara.
Work with clients across Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail and Healthcare.
Conduct tax research and support special projects as needed.
Review property tax notices from Assessors and resolve issues.
Identify discrepancies that may require an appeal.
Mentor and train associates and interns to develop careers.
Collaborate with clients to resolve complex issues and achieve results.
