Job summary

CLA is seeking a Property Tax Senior to join our State & Local Tax practice. You’ll review fixed asset documents, resolve data issues with clients and the tax team, and gain hands-on experience using Avalara to prepare property tax renditions.

You’ll work with clients across industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, and Healthcare. The role involves tax research, reviewing notices, training associates, and helping resolve complex issues to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in property tax or related field.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• Experience in business consulting or services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review fixed asset detail documents for property tax renditions.
• Collaborate with clients and SALT team to resolve data issues.
• Receive training on Avalara software and use it to prepare renditions.
• Identify discrepancies and determine if an appeal is warranted.
